Mosul Offensive // November 9

This morning our medics served in Bashiqa while the Peshmerga completed their mission of securing the city. A few snipers remain hidden in tunnels and homes. We suspect within 24 hours Bashiqa will be clear of militants.

Just after lunch the Peshmerga command center officially declared Bashiqa secure.

In the afternoon one of our medical teams shadowed a Peshmerga column assigned with sweeping the roads of IED's and land mines and clearing ISIS outposts.
